Defending Complex Systems in the AI Era

Not in Theory, But in Practice

AI doesn't replace security fundamentals; it shifts where trust boundaries exist. Learn how to identify, prioritize, and neutralize cyber threats in AI-integrated systems through practical exercises designed to build real-world defensive skills.

Duration

One-day workshop featuring hands-on activities, practical exercises, and a final integration exercise

Final Integration Exercise

Fly the MOUSE Drone through a simulated mission while responding to live cyber attacks targeting both traditional subsystems and AI-enabled capabilities. Teams apply security concepts and defense-in-depth strategies to protect their drone and complete mission objectives under adversarial conditions.

MOUSE Training Platform

This workshop uses the MOUSE MKIII Drone as a platform for defending AI-integrated systems. AI-enabled computer vision (EO/IR subsystem) expands mission capabilities across several areas, while simultaneously increasing system complexity and risk.

  • Design and secure the MOUSE Drone against real-world threats
  • Use limited resources to apply defense-in-depth across all subsystems to ensure mission success
